JC Decaux backs creative poster project

JC Decaux is working with the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) on a 'Who Are You?' competition developed to bring the artwork of 14-19 year-olds to life by supersizing winning entries and putting them on billboards across the UK.

This is the third year of the project, which has so far seen over 60 winners showcasing their creative talent across billboard sites. The deadline for entries to the 2014 competition is 14 February.

The judging panel comprises creative industry experts – people who have followed their creative dreams and have made a name for themselves in their chosen field. They include photographers Rankin and Giles Duley; illustrator Debbie Powell and co-founder of professional creative community 'The Loop', Pip Jamieson.

Simon Pride, head of marketing at the AU, said: “Following on from the success of last year’s competition, we are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with outdoor media specialists JC Decaux for the third year running and encouraging young creatives to follow their dreams and express who they are in the world today through their artwork. Through the competition, AUB are helping young people who dream of a career in the creative industries to launch themselves, and hopefully their careers, by giving them a huge platform to showcase their work.”
