Venables takes over the helm at Signs Express Norwich

Signs Express Norwich has a new franchise owner in the form of Ken Venables who managed the Norwich centre from 2000 until 2008 before moving on to UK Hire as general manager, and most recently to Quentor, also as general manager.

He takes over from Paul Baldwin, the previous centre manager for Norwich, who is moving to the head office as national sales manager with a remit to help grow the network’s national clients

“It’s an exciting opportunity and I am relishing the prospect of running my own business,” said Venables. “I am looking forward to re-establishing old connections as well as meeting new customers.”

The Norwich centre was the first Signs Express to open 25 years ago and was used as a pilot for the franchise concept before it was rolled out across the country.
