The Onlineprinters online print shop has introduced a high-speed Durst Rho 312R UV roll-to-roll printer for printing mesh and PVC tarpaulins.
"The new printer, Durst Rho 312R roll-to-roll printer, allows us to print individual large-formats for tarpaulins and mesh fabric with an excellent image quality unrivalled on the market for outdoor advertising," said Julia Voigt, marketing manager of Onlineprinters. She added: "The 'fine-art' image quality enables our customers to present expressive and colourful advertising messages at the point of sale for a highly detailed representation of the image even up close.”
The Durst Rho 312R was officially handed over to Onlineprinters at Fespa Digital. "We have developed a new printer that is excellently suited for three-shift industrial operation at Onlineprinters. The printer is capable of processing a great variety of materials, enabling flexible printing and fast printing times with little preparation time," said Peter Weingartner, director of technical development with Durst in Austria. The printer has an output speed of up to 240m2/hr.
The Rho 312R is the latest addition to the online print shop's Durst line-up. It has been using a Rhotex 320 soft signage printer since May 2012. Onlineprinters has said it will invest a total of one million euros in further expansion of its large-format printing department.
