i-Sub Digital will distribute the new Agfa Anapurna M2500i in the UK from January 2015, following its worldwide launch at SGIA 2014 in Las Vegas last week.
The 2.5m-wide six-colour plus white UV-inkjet printing system, with an automated board feeder, is designed for high-volume workloads. It features six Konica-Minolta KM 1024i grayscale printheads for colour - and two KM 1024i printheads heads for white – and has a maximum resolution of 1,440 x 720dpi and top speed of 115m2/hr. Its optional board feeder allows up to five boards to be printed in parallel, while the system also offers roll-to-roll and roll-to-sheet printing for rigid and flexible media.
“This is a hard-working machine that will definitely appeal to sign and display companies who need a printer that will handle bread and butter work quickly and efficiently, while offering potential new revenue through a wide variety of other print products," said i-Sub Digital director Andy Spreag.
