Senior appointments for OKI UK team

OKI has made two senior appointments to its UK senior sales and marketing team. Lars Hargaard has been made marketing director for the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, and Dylan Haworth takes on the role of sales director.

Hargaard will be responsible for increasing brand awareness and loyalty for OKI, plus all other marketing-related activities including product and solutions management, business intelligence and communications. He joined OKI in 1999 and has previously held marketing and management positions in Denmark and Northern Europe where he played a major role in creating a consistent brand across the region and in transforming OKI’s marketing into a modern, digitally-aligned operation.

“I am looking forward to my new responsibilities in the UK and helping to further build OKI’s reputation as an industry pioneer across the country. The recent expansion of the colour and smart printer portfolios show how the OKI brand continues to represent both quality and innovation and it’s exciting to be at the helm of marketing in the region at such a time of progress,” says Hargaard.

Dylan Haworth is new to OKI, having previously been the general manager channel sales for Brother UK. His new role at OKI will be both channel and end-user facing with responsibility for driving the transition from a product to solutions-focused operation.

“The ongoing evolution of the printer industry makes this a time of renewed potential for both our customers and our channel network – and one of my major priorities will be the establishing of new relationships and partnerships,” says Haworth. “The fact that a printer can now sit at the heart of a digital workflow gives plenty of opportunities for resellers and systems analysts to add even further value for customers.”
