Octink celebrates 33% jump in revenue

Marketing suite and display specialist Octink is celebrating its strongest ever first quarter, with a 33% increase in revenues compared with the same period in 2014. It marks the West London-based company’s busiest start to the year since it was established in 1962.

“Usually the year takes a little while to get going,” explained Octink Client Services Director, Simon Martin. “This year however, the phone started ringing on our first day back after the Christmas break and it hasn’t stopped since.”

Current projects include a long-term signage and graphics project on the Greenwich Peninsula, marketing suite and signage projects in Nine Elms, and an ongoing project at Chobham Manor in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The company is also involved in work for major regeneration projects in Earls Court and Elephant and Castle.

In its capacity as a creative partner of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Octink was part of the LCCI’s delegation to MIPIM in Cannes in March. The delegation was based at the heart of the London Pavilion at MIPIM, which showcased most of the large developments taking place across the capital, including Octink clients such as Battersea Power Station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Mike Freely, Octink MD believes that the company’s recent success is as much a result of its focus on building long-term customer relationships as it is on the resurgence in the property market: “We provide branding, signage and property marketing suites to some of the country’s largest residential property developers, so naturally the buoyant market is creating a lot of demand for our services. That is one factor in this success, but the way we build relationships with our clients is the other. Not only do we understand the construction industry and property marketing, but professionalism, quality, safety, compliance and care are at the core of every project we deliver. This means that our clients can rely on us to consistently deliver work that helps them stand-out in a busy market.”
