German-based Web-to-print specialist Onlineprinters has opened a new Large Format Prints production facility. The 1,200m2 site is close to the company’s headquarters in Neustadt an der Aisch where it operates in a total area of 42,000m2. The company has also enlarged its marketing and product management departments.
"Thanks to rapid growth, large-format prints have slowly but steadily become one of our core products," said Dr Michael Fries, CEO. "Large-scale outdoor advertising is now part of a modern marketing mix. We continue to invest in this area in order to meet our customers’ demands both at present and in the future."
Onlineprinters opened its first large-format printing operation in January 2011. Now 19 staff process orders received via 15 online stores from all over Europe on kit that includes HP and Durst printers. Work includes customisation and personalisation services, specialist finishing (such as tarpaulin eyelets) and same-day delivery.
