Memjet OEM partner New Solution has incorporated the inkjet printhead technology into its all-in-one wide-format labeling and packaging solution called NS Multi.
The 42in-wide printer features five-colour printheads, and can print at speeds of 300mm per second at 1600 x 800dpi and 150mm per second at 1600 x 1600dpi. It can handle various substrates including multi-layer film and corrugated card.
Driving the NS Multi is a proprietary software with user-friendly interface that allows users to control all aspects the machine, including ink level control, consumption and measurements, roll radius measurement, temperature and climate control. A PC, included as part of the solution, lets users install variable data software and alternative Rip solutions.
