The Oeko-Tex Eco Passport is an internationally recognised safety and environmental certification for manufacturers of textiles. It includes stringent analysis of textile chemicals, colourants and auxiliaries. The priority is to confirm that the compounds and individual ingredients meet the specific criteria for sustainability, safety and regulatory compliance. It also involves laboratory evaluation to ensure no unsafe contaminants are included. Only by passing these strict tests are the textile products certified as safe to use.
