Epson to focus on textile at Fespa 2018

Epson will put its Monna Lisa industrial textile printer centre stage at Fespa 2018 in a bid to show customers a migration path. “There is a thirst from PSPs for diversification, a willingness to find ways of giving customers even more products that will communicate the brand or the corporate message,” explained Richard Barrow, senior product manager. “Broadening the range is a way of adding value to the services they provide to customers and cementing the partnership, leaving no hole for an alternative supplier to fill.”
The company’s show line-up will also include its two latest textile printers - the SureColor SC-F9300 dye sublimation printer and the SureColor SC-F2100 direct-to-garment printer - as well as the established SureColor SC-F6200. The stand will highlight a haute couture womenswear collection by Richard Quinn, who recently won the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design and who uses Epson printers. Other décor, giftware, signage, proofing, photography and backlit products will also be seen and produced. There will be two models from the SureColor SC-S range, the SC-80600 and the SC-60600. Completing the portfolio will be a SureColor SC-P photographic quality printer.
