DataLase appoints chief technical officer

DataLase has appointed a new chief technical officer to drive growth and innovation at the company. Ally Grant will work to extend DataLase’s photonic printing solution capability.
Andrew Wragg, CEO, DataLase, said: “Without a doubt, Ally’s impressive experience and operational prowess will help continue to fuel DataLase’s growth and scale. As CTO, Ally will be instrumental to the executive leadership team as we continuously strive to innovate our technology platforms to shape and drive the future of the digital printing industry.” Prior to joining DataLase, Grant worked at Fujifilm Speciality Ink Systems for five years as product manager working within the field of industrial inkjet printing. Before that, he was futures ink manager at Memjet, responsible for novel ink development. Notably, Grant holds around 30 patents, primarily in ink formulation chemistry and associated fields.
