Johnny Shell, vice president of print technology and training at the SGIA, has won the 2018 Sundeen/Simich Industry Support Award.
The gong - from the Graphic Communications Education Association - recognises members who have made highly significant contributions to graphic arts education over an extended period of time.
Shell is the 26th recipient of this award. He has worked in the industry for over 30 years with experience in graphic, industrial and apparel printing, and has been a SGIA staff member since 1998. He teaches workshops and speaks at industry events both domestically and internationally.
