The organisers of the Pure Digital event are inviting anyone involved in digital printing – apart from other event organisers – to attend a development group meeting on 25 October this year at the Beursgebouw Exhibition Centre in Eindhoven, where Pure Digital 2 will take place 23-24 October 2019.

As of 15 October, EFI has a new CEO in the form of William (Bill) D Muir, until recently the COO of Jabil, a product solutions company. He succeeds Guy Gecht, who at the end of July announced his intention to step down when a replacement had been found. He will remain a member of the board of directors and will be an advisor to Muir.

Pure Digital 2 will take place 23-24 October in Eindhoven. The inaugural ‘digital print event for the creative industry’ took place in April this year in Amsterdam, but joint organiser Frazer Chesterman said that after a period of consultation with exhibitors and creatives, the new location and timing makes good sense.

On 1 January 2019 Myron Petruch will step up at Sun Chemical to become its president and CEO. Performance pigments and general manager of the pigments products division since 2008, Petruch succeeds Rudi Lenz who takes on the new role of vice chairman of the board.
