Xeikon has terminated the Trillium liquid toner development project first demonstrated at Drupa 2016 in the Trillium One press. The company said it had encountered several challenges in bringing it to market as a commercial product, with Benoit Chatelard, president and CEO digital solutions, of Xeikon parent Flint Group, explaining: “We are confident the segments we operate in can be well served with our current dry toner technology and the newly launched Panther UV inkjet technology.

Tring-based Projects and Print has bought a 3.2m Agfa Anapurna RTR3200i LED 6-colour printer with Asanti workflow to coincide with premises expansion. The company has taken 1,068m2 of new premises, making the site twice the size of the old one, which already accommodated a 2.5m Anapurna M2500i 6-colour hybrid printer bought in 2014.
