FaberExposize readies for market bounce-back

FaberExposize UK has appointed a new head of commercial projects - Steven Grant -  as part of its strategy to increase market share in the exhibitions, events and interior design sectors as they bounce-back from Covid-19.

Leeds-based wide-format fabric printing specialist FaberExposize UK had been steadily investing in equipment, infrastructure and people over the past two years before the coronavirus outbreak struck. A new £500,000 Agfa printer and the construction of a new mezzanine floor for the specialist exhibition finishing department were just part of the £1.5m investment in wide-format print production.

The company, and sister company Northern Flags, adapted their respective business models during 2020, moves which they say has allowed them to come out relatively unscathed and which means they can now focus on growth again.

Grant has over nine years’ experience working with graphics delivery into the exhibitions, live events and congress industry. In his new role his remit is to elevate the service FaberExposize UK offers.

Clasper-Cotte, MD of FaberExposize UK and Northern Flags, said: “Nobody wants to hear the cliché about how tough 2020 was any more. Since the turn of the year all we’ve encountered is positivity within the various sectors we trade with and, for us, getting Steven on board is a huge affirmation of this. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, which will allow us to further build our reputation as market leaders.

“The UK events and exhibition industries were hit especially hard in the last year but having worked with friends, colleagues and clients in those areas for over 10 years now, we know how determined they are to bounce back. When they’re ready to, we want to make sure we have the best support in place with a dedicated, specialist team led by Steven ready help them build back better.”
