Lincoln-based YPP Group has partnered with global artists collaboration PD Moreno to create a new ecommerce operation. Under the deal, YPP has exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute a range of products within the UK from the new pdmoreno.co.uk website.
The new business - which will initially offer travel, homeware and leisure products - is expected to create five to ten jobs for local people.
Stuart Maclaren, YPP Group CEO, said: “The collaboration is an existing opportunity for the team, bringing more products and offering of some of the amazing art they have designed.”
He added: “I am proud to have been able to create jobs in the current climate, especially when many similar companies have unfortunately had to reduce staff numbers or close their doors for good. Our new partnership with PD Moreno will allow us to recruit both in the office and in our production warehouse.”
Peter D, one half of the artist collaboration PD Moreno said: “YPP Group’s expertise and passion have really made me confident about this long-term partnership.”
YPP - which includes Your Print Partner, customgifts.co.uk and santasacks.com - has continued to grow despite having a core market that disappeared in 2020, and for the first time revenue has passed £6m.
Maclaren ended: “This has been a challenging year without doubt. The team have done an amazing job on accepting the new workings and challenges that we have all seen. We have made a lot of new customers and also lost some along the way with so many industries being affect. Lets hope 2021 is even better!”
