Print, packaging and paper industry HR specialist Des Page has joined forces with personnel management group Meir Global to form Page Meir Global which will provide job performance and evaluation services in the UK/Ireland’s printing, packaging and paper manufacturing industries.
Page Meir Global will work with companies on establishing efficient organisation structures, having job roles focused on accountability and performance and putting into place competitive reward systems to retain talent.
The relationship between Page and Meir Global founding director Insel Jemal goes back over 11 years when they worked together as part of a team on a competency based job evaluation project on behalf of Ernst and Young. Shortly after this initial meeting, Jemal established Meir Global with two partners. It now has offices not only in the UK but in Brussels, South Africa and with associated networks in North America, Africa and the Middle East.
Page was initially employed as a sales and managing director within the commercial printing industry and is now managing director of Desmond F Page, a specialist executive search and human resource development consultancy. He will continue to run this business alongside Page Meir Global.
