Oasis Graphic has been back to Pizza Express on behalf of Andpol, helping to create another locally themed restaurant - this time in Harrow. The look and feel of the restaurant is a light hearted tribute to Harrow artist W Heath Robinson.
W Heath Robinson’s name is synonymous with bizarre and improbable machines held together with knotted string and powered by steam kettles, candles and even hungry mice. Pizza Express' design agency, Quadrant Design, designed a mighty pizza making machine with plenty of knotted string, candles and toasting forks in evidence, all tended by chefs wearing Pizza Express' iconic stripey jerseys.
Oasis realised the designs in UV printed wallpaper and optically clear printed vinyl, transforming the restaurant in St. Georges Shopping Centre, Harrow into a tribute to its famous resident.
