When the electronic musical instruments’ division of Roland wanted to maximize the impact of a pop-up performance by comedian Bill Bailey on one of its piano’s at St Pancras International train station sibling company Roland DG stepped in to wrap the instrument in promotional graphics.
The activity was part of a piano product launch, with a competition for entrants to take one home. The wrap meant those watching Bailey’s performance got the message loud and clear, with over two million viewing a recording on Facebook.
