Adam Bourn Creative wins wide-format award

Adam Bourn Creative has taken the Wide Format Project of the Year gong at the BSGA British Sign Awards. The company took the accolade for its ‘One Commercial Street’ job that required the comparatively small operation to produce over 1150m2 of self adhesive vinyl and install it at a development of retail, commercial and residential properties in the City of London.

Runners up for the awards were Dyson Signs for a project at Westfield School in Sheffield, and Signbox for its work at Invesco at London Wall.

The inaugural BSGA British Sign Awards attracted over 250 entries across 13 signmaker categories. Winners were announced at a gala awards ceremony attended by over 320 people at Villa Park in Birmingham last week.

“It’s the highest profile event organised by the BSGA for many years and it exceeded all our expectations,” said David Dyke, association president.

The awards were open to all UK sign businesses, including non-members of the BSGA. Other winners included Allen Signs, which clinched Vehicle Graphics of the Year for the ‘Billy Branston Bus’. And Sign of the Year went to Sign of the Times for ‘The Heinz 57 Wall’.
