Blackman and White has been shortlisted in the Export Champion of the Year category of the Amazon Growing Business Awards 2016.
MD Alex White said: "We've been at the forefront of technology for more than 45 years and during that time we've supplied customers across the globe with products and services. By listening to customers and partners we develop solutions that meet individual needs and in some cases move them from custom-design into full production where the new technology is applicable across the board.
He added: “Obviously Brexit is a top issue on the minds of anyone who either exports or imports goods at the moment, and while the process of leaving the EU will undoubtedly create some challenges we also need to be open to the possibilities and opportunities it will offer.
"We're absolutely delighted to be on the shortlist of Export Champions - we actually export around half of our machines so it's a very important and massive growth area for us.
"We find that the reputation of British manufacturing and the standards people have come to expect from us as a company really help us sell our goods overseas."
