Your Print Partner makes its next move

Fast growing large-format digital textile print company Your Print Partner is ploughing well over £1m into larger freehold premises and new kit. A 1950m2 building - set on a 1.05 acre site close to its current site in Lincoln - will house sales and accounting offices, a design studio and photography suite, meeting rooms, two product showrooms, staff recreational facilities and over three times as much production and warehouse space as the current site.

“We’ve always set ourselves ambitious targets for growth, since the company was established in 2011,” said managing director Stuart Maclaren. “Our core business for printed outdoor marketing products and point-of-sale material is expanding rapidly and we wanted to ensure we could meet this exciting challenge quickly.”

The company is spending £400,000 this winter on new generation LED-UV printers. Included in the list is an LED-UV flatbed that will enable the company to add custom printed signage and rigid retail displays to its product range.

The new larger warehouse will enable YPP to start stocking a range of exhibition display hardware as ‘off-the-shelf’ items in keeping with its remit to become a ‘one-stop-shop’ for printed goods.

“We recorded our strongest sales figures ever last year, whilst also increasing profitability” said Mclaren. “This year sales are up by 43% and we want to carry that momentum forwards into our new home”.

The new building will also house a dedicated production suite for the company’s new brand - ‘The Santa Sacks Co.’ - and extra facilities for a new personalised gifts brand set to be launched early next year.

Five new permanent jobs are also set to be created, to join the 22 members of staff already at the firm, once it becomes fully operational at the new site in four-to-five weeks time.
