Mida looks to second Signracer 3200 printer

Mida Sign Services, which installed a Signracer 3200 UV LED hybrid printer on 22 September, is considering a second as it continues its expansion.

9 - SSE MIDA 2Mike Smith, founder of the Ashton-under-Lyne company, which relocated in 2013 with a plan to increase its premises by 300%, said: “The Signracer has immediately made a significant difference. This investment has changed our thinking about the way we work and we can see the huge potential to increase, improve and maximise our production services across the board. The Ricoh Gen 5 printheads in the Signracer have taken digital printing direct to substrate into a new sphere on quality and on price. With these enhanced capabilities the company is adding a new level to its already impressive wide format capability. The speed of the Signracer will increase production and increase turnover.”

Mida, set-up in 1984, provides project management from site survey through to full installation of printed graphics. Its new Signracer was ordered through SSE Worldwide.
