Pixartprinting has recorded double-digit growth in turnover in each of the past five years. It had over 200,000 active clients last year and hired 100 staff in 2016. A similar level of recruitment is anticipated for 2017.

“With Alessio and Alessandro on board, I decided to step down from my previous responsibilities at Pixartprinting. My decision will allow me to explore new avenues and find new inspiration for the future,” explained Tenderini, who has been with Pixartprinting since 1998, alongside founder Matteo Rigamonti.

He guided the company as it evolved from a family-owned business to a corporate outfit with the sale to the Alcedo private equity firm, through to joining Cimpress in 2014. “After 18 years, I'm confident that I have taken Pixartprinting into adulthood,” said Tenderini. “Today, the company is one of Cimpress's outstanding brands, thanks to its technological innovation and production structure; what's more, it’s often a starting point for developing new models for the whole mass-customisation platform. Roatta will ensure Pixartprinting's development remains relentless, guiding the company to success in its challenging objectives.”
