Mutoh launches new printers at Heimtextil

At Heimtextil Mutoh is introducing a 1.9m-wide ValueJet 1938TX direct-to-textile printer, as well as the ValueJet 1948WX 1.9m-wide sublimation transfer printer with print speeds exceeding 100m²/hour, and the ValueJet 1638X, a 1625mm printer.

The VJ-1938TX has dual staggered printheads and is aimed at those producing sampling of short run on-demand digital production of home textiles, upholstery, interior deco fabrics, fast fashion, swimwear, flags, etc. It uses pigmented textile inks or direct sublimation inks and is said to have sophisticated fabric feeding, front and back tensioning and motorised take-up system for media rolls up to 100kg. The printer delivers typical production print speeds up to 40m²/h.

The VJ-1948WX integrates four staggered printheads and has in-built dual heaters enabling a top speed of 117 m²/h.

The ValueJet 1638X printer has been developed for sign and display applications, and can be loaded with Mutoh Eco Ultra or Universal Mild Solvent (UMS) inks to deliver sellable production speeds at 720 x 720dpi up to 36m²/h.
