Aussie wins Avery Dennison wrap champ title

Nick Caminiti, car wrap installer at Exotic Graphix from Australia, has won the Avery Dennison ‘Wrap Like A King’ 2017 challenge. He competed against 159 installers from 19 countries to earn the title.

Caminiti used Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping™ Film Diamond Silver and MPI 1105 with DOL 6460 overlaminate to complete his ‘Lei’d Low’ entry, creating a Hawaiian surf theme for a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle. The entry features three-dimensional, embossed wood effects created with vinyl film, and a fully templated vinyl wrap inspired by 1960’s paint jobs. Also included were a wrapped steering wheel, a holographic visor and custom offset wheels.
