Sign and Digital UK in April will be the UK launch platform for the Jetrix KX6U-LED printer from InkTec. Joey Kim, MD, InkTec Europe, said it “heralds the arrival of a new suite of LED printers where we are looking to offer a range of various sizes and formats.”
Kim added: “This new printer encapsulates all the capabilities of our well established Jetrix series, but is an entry level LED printer designed to be competitive both in terms of what it can do and also on price.”
The KX6U-LED supports rigid media up to 2,440 x 1,220mm and 100mm thick. Using Konica 6pl printheads it has a top resolution of 1440 x 720dpi, and can print at up to 28m2/hr.
InkTec will also be showing its LXi8 LED-UV flatbed printer at the show and will have inks and media on neighbouring stand G20, including new supplements to its consumable portfolio such as LED UV ink for Mimaki JFX200 printers. Having becoming a distributor for Natura media, InkTec Europe will also reveal new items such as Natura’s specialist application clear and self-adhesive medias for the solvent, Latex and UV printers.
