PPB, an independently owned national distributor and convertor of PoP substrates, has acquired NE Plastics, a flat sheet plastic supplier and bespoke fabrication specialist. The latter is based in the south of England, an area where PPB it has been looking to build upon its Thurrock operation. The acquisition of NE Plastics will enable PPB to expand plastic sales in the London area.
The combining of these two companies - both of which have expertise in fabrication, cutting and various other finishing processes of plastics and boards - will take the group turnover to over £30m.

Stock levels and servicing will be enhanced by our national distribution network serviced by a new fleet of vehicles. Customers can be assured that it is business as usual, but with the ongoing security of dealing with a larger scale business that is investing in this growing sector.”
