Sun Chemical to showcase updated inks portfolio at Fespa 2018

Sun Chemical will show its new Streamline UML inks for the wide-format market at Fespa 2018, where it will run a live demonstration on a Mutoh printer.
Streamline UML is colour-matched to the Mutoh UMS CMYK ink series, formulated from Sun Chemical's HPQ-LO (High Print Quality - Low Odour) backbone ink chemistry platform with Greenguard Gold certification for indoor emissions. Also new to the Streamline family is Rapide ‘value’ series solvent inks for superwide and wide-format printer platforms. Sun, which is to demonstrate the full range of its inks capabilities and expertise on its stand within four zones - graphics, digital textiles, industrial and partnerships and technology - will also introduce the Sonata DTR500 series inks, developed for the Mimaki TS500 textile printer using Ricoh Gen 5 printheads. Being showcased for the first time by Sun too will be a recently acquired technology called SunMotion. Through the use of invisible ink printed onto plastic substrates that come alive when exposed to focused LED lights, SunMotion provides brand owners with alternative colour and motion advertising.
