The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is offering two half-day education sessions the day before the 2018 SGIA Expo opens in Las Vegas (18 -20 October). ‘Wide-Format 101: Essential Skills for Success’ and ‘Essential Small Business Strategies’ will supplement the 72 conference sessions taking place during the show.

Northern Flags sister company FaberExposize UK has spent another £500,000 expanding its print facility on the back of a £1m investment into the relocation of its wide-format print hub last Christmas.

German-based Onlineprinters has produced a quarter of a million carbon neutral print orders. "The figure of 250,000 is sensational,” said Michael Fries, CEO of the company, which began carbon neutral production in 2013 and has since offset 7,900 tons of the gas.

Print Make Wear - the new fast fashion factory experience created within Fespa 2018 - attracted 467 individual delegate registrations. 17% of visitors to the wider Fespa event also said they had an interest in garment decoration and/or manufacturing, and visited the Print Make Wear area according the show stats.
