Metamark (UK) has acquired long-standing Irish distributor Trimwel, which will continue to trade under its own brand and operate from its established headquarters in Dublin.

DataLase has appointed a new chief technical officer to drive growth and innovation at the company. Ally Grant will work to extend DataLase’s photonic printing solution capability.

Sabur Ink Systems has a new UV business development manager. Dan Jeffries has taken on the role after 12 years at Hybrid Services. He will head up Sabur’s Industrial and UV product range, and is tasked with increasing its representation in the UK in these sectors.

Print Scotland called for more apprentices as it handed out its third Annual Scottish Print Apprentice of the Year awards. The occasion is part of its mission to represent the Scottish print community and to highlight the profile of future leaders of the industry.
