Karibu rated highly energy efficient in test

Through tests specified by the ISO 20690 standard, Fogra has confirmed the swissQprint Karibu roll-to-roll printer is highly energy efficient.

In order to model realistic system usage, the standardised measurement includes four different printer statuses. To ensure that results are consistent, the experts used three different printing modes several times with a standardised print file. For example, Karibu in its most productive speed" printing mode applies 71m2 to the substrate per kilowatt hour.
