Canon system gets 3M Performance Guarantee

Applications printed with Canon’s Colorado 1650 with its UVgel 460 ink onto 3M materials have been given the 3M Performance Guarantee.

“When we started developing our UVgel technology, it was our ambition to combine all advantages of the existing ink technologies into one solution and offer our customers the opportunity to work with the widest range of media possible”, said Dirk Brouns, VP large format graphics at Canon Production Printing. “It is great to see that 3M has certified UVgel ink and Colorado 1650 prints with the 3M Performance Guarantee. Our customer base is rapidly adopting UVgel as their preferred technology, both for media that are widely used today, as well as emerging categories of the future, such as PVC free print media.”
