InkTec brings out inkset for Mimaki UCJV300-160

InkTec Europe has launched a seven-colour UV inkset for Mimaki UCJV300-160 large-format printers.
The UCJV300-160 roll-to-roll print-and-cut machine uses Mimaki LUS-170 ink. InkTec’s alternative UvioNova-FR170 inks are said to include a high density white to deliver less yellowing than the original inks - the other colours are CMYK, light cyan and light magenta. InkTec said the inks – available in 1l bottles - require no colour profile changes, and that they can be use for both indoor and outdoor applications. Peter Davidson, head of IP consumable sales at InkTec Europe said: “InkTec are really excited to be able to bring these new UV inks for the Mimaki UCJV300 printer to the market. Recognising that these roll-to-roll printers are an integral part of the large format industry, we were keen to address the increasing demand for having a truly compatible, alternative ink. However, not content with just that, we wanted to create one that was also an improvement on the existing. So we have worked hard to deliver a purer, whiter ink which when printed is really adding to the intensity of the colours overall.”
