VMC 2021 to run in September

The next Visual Media Conference (VMC) is to run 21-23 September, under the title ‘Sustainability Through Innovation’.

Organised annually by the BPIF, headed by Creative Digital Industries (CDI - a BPIF special interest group) and in conjunction with founding partners Precision Proco and Creative Race, the conference brings together the digital and print industries to delve into trends, technology and innovations affecting both industries.

Now in its eighth year, the 2021 VMC will include insights from various print sectors, including display and POS.

The live-streamed virtual event will have content from international keynote speakers providing panel discussions, Q&A’s, webinars and podcasts. This content will be available at fixed times, but content will be recorded and shared online to view at leisure. The conference will start live at 10am on 21 September and close at 3pm on the 23 September.

Along with speakers, there will be a range of virtual exhibitors, and research and innovation will be reinforced through a collaboration with the University of Leeds, Centre for Immersive Technologies, XR Society, Leeds Beckett University Business School and the Retail Institute.

Last year the online VMC attracted 550 delegates drawn from around the world.
