Portable and WiFi-enabled spectrophotometer from Barbieri
From Barbieri comes Spectropad, a wireless, battery powered, portable spectrophotometer for digital printers which, thanks to its large measurement aperture, is able to measure a wide range of reflective media including banner, cardboard, textiles, canvas, PVC, vinyl and fine art paper.
The Spectropad, distributed in the UK by IGS, can be operated without a computer. Jobs can be stored in the device and measurement results (if requested) sent through WiFi to a computer.
This is the first measurement device with Barbieri ‘qb-technology’ inside. This is based on D50 illumination and contains the next generation of highest precision spectral core. The D50 illumination used is based on LED technology by Just Normlicht. It matches the new measurement condition M1 introduced with the ISO standard 13655-2009. The qb-technology means most precision measurement results will be reached.
A touch display makes operation easy, whether measuring a control bar, a linearization or profiling chart or just a simple spot colour.
