New Fujifilm Acuity LED 1600 shipping to UK by end 2011 

The new Acuity LED 1600 printer, being showcase by Fujifilm at exhibitions in the US and Japan this month, will be shipping to the UK by the end of the year.

The 1.6m wide-format printer, which supports UV-curable ink and features a long-life and low-power-consumption LED light source, has been designed to produce up 20m2/hr and prints at resolutions of 400dpi-1200dpi. It comes as standard with eight colour inks (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, white and clear). It also comes with spot colour matching software. The unit supports roll, sheet and rigid substrates up to 13mm in thickness.
