The Print Futures Awards Scheme grows

Cash grants of up to £1,500 each are available for those aged 16 to 30 to help pay for any costs associated with relevant education or training courses for a job in printing, publishing or graphic arts in the UK. Entries close Friday, 30 May 2014.

The Print Futures Awards Scheme, now in its eleventh year, is set to grow again in 2014. An increased number of cash grants of up to £1,500 are available those aged 16 to 30 to help pay for any costs associated with relevant education or training courses for a job in printing, publishing or graphic arts in the UK. Entries close Friday 30 May.

The financial awards are supported by The Printing Charity, Unite the Union and the BPIF. They are joined this year by the John Crosfield Foundation and St Bride Foundation.

The John Crosfield Foundation has donated its remaining charitable funds to The Printing Charity to administer as part of the Print Futures Awards, which align with The John Crosfield Foundation’s aim of helping young people to train for a career in printing.

St Bride Foundation will be this year’s judging venue, helping to promote its facilities to the new generation entering the UK printing, publishing and graphic arts sectors.
