The Wimbledon Print Company used Ipex 2014 to finalise a deal with M Partners Wide for a Canon iPF825 44in printer.
The company’s owner and MD, Michael Woolsey, said: “Having conducted a detailed review of our business, we decided that an upgrade to the large-format printing kit at our retail site would be a real benefit to us moving forward. There is good business in producing large-format CAD prints for architects and building companies, but they have moved beyond monochrome work. The full-colour, high performance capabilities of the Canon will allow us to expand this part of our business.”
The five-colour dye-and-pigment reactive pigment ink iPF825 is equipped with a scanning unit that will also allow the company to scan in existing drawings, plans and prints.
