CMA Imaging supports Fespa’s Print Inspiration Rally project

CMA Imaging’s Colorcloud colour standardisation software has been used for the Fespa Print Inspiration Rally project that sees a US school bus transformed into a showcase of digitally produced wide-format print to illustrate the sector’s creative capability to designers etc. Its next outing will be at Fespa 2015 in Cologne in May. Colorcloud standardised colour output of the project’s different print applications, prepared by its participating partners (from printed blinds, customised laminate flooring to LED printed wall paper).

Gerardo Cerros, CEO of CMA Imaging said: “CMA Colorcloud finally counters the market challenge to standardise colour output while using different printing technologies and diverse media. This is significant to enable the creation of a harmonised environment in interior design”.

Colorcloud is wizard based and adaptable for market standard Rips and workflows. Alex Nussem, director marcomms at CMA Imaging, added: “All that is needed to use CMA Colorcloud is simply a Web browser and a measurement device. Interior designers can now

assure standardised colours in their designs, no matter the printed materials they use – simply by asking their printers for the appliance of CMA Colorcloud in the printing process”.
