Canon imagePrograf iPF755 wins award

Canon's imagePrograf iPF755 large-format printer has won the Buyers Laboratory Inc (BLI) spring 'Pick' award in the Outstanding Wide-Format Colour Inkjet Multipurpose Printer category.

BLI said the imagePrograf iPF755's "unrivalled productivity, wealth of time-saving software utilities and excellent ease of use has raised the bar in the competitive multi-purpose inkjet wide-format marketplace." BLI's European lab and research manager, David Sweetnam, praised the engine's various cost-saving features, including its economy print mode, which was found, in testing, to offer significant savings.

Launched in May alongside the Canon imagePrograf iPF650, iPF655 and iPF750 devices, the iPF755 is capable of outputting an A0 sheet in 48 seconds and is front-loading to save space. A dedicated Microsoft plug-in allows easy printing directly from standard applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point. Users can also change inks whilst printing and can track the cost per print when used in conjunction with Canon's accounting software.
