Gardners installs first HP Scitex FB7500 in UK
Gardners has installed the UK's first HP Scitex FB7500 printer to increase its capacity and offer customers a competitive alternative to screenprinting.
"With the HP Scitex FB7500 we are able to achieve high quality prints at considerably higher speeds than on our other flatbeds," said Richard Gardner, managing director of Cardiff-based Gardners. "We have also been able to transfer some of the work from our large-format eco-solvent machines giving us savings on finishing and increasing our capacity."
Gardners already runs an extensive range of HP printers including two of the following: HP Scitex XP2300, HP Scitex FB6100, HP Scitex XP5100, HP Scitex TJ8350, plus nine HP Scitex XP2100 printers. Designed to take on traditional screenprint applications, the company's new six-colour HP Scitex FB7500 can produce 105 (1.2 x 2.4m) sheets or 95 full-beds (3.6m x 1.6m) per hour and handle flexible and rigid media.
Gardners specialises in the production of high volume banners, posters, billboards, retail point of sale items and the development and production of specialised software solutions across many different sectors.
