Fespa 2018 to see Wide Format Automation Suite upgrade

At Fespa 2018 German software specialist OneVision will release version 18.1 of its Wide Format Automation Suite.

Fully automated nesting will be possible for products printed on both sides. The company said that thanks to automated intersection line merging, the number of intersection lines and thus the cutting time will be considerably reduced. In addition, spot colours can now be extracted from PDF files. For example, cut lines or white masks can be automatically removed for printing and at the same time a separate file can be created with only the spot colours for further processing (eg. by a cutter). On the OneVision Fespa stand various print products made of rigid and flexible material will be prepared and nested with OneVision software and cut live with the Océ ProCut G3 2500L.
