SGIA Expo pre-show workshops introduced

The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is offering two half-day education sessions the day before the 2018 SGIA Expo opens in Las Vegas (18 -20 October). ‘Wide-Format 101: Essential Skills for Success’ and ‘Essential Small Business Strategies’ will supplement the 72 conference sessions taking place during the show.

Attendees at the ‘Wide-Format 101: Essential Skills for Success’ session will learn about technologies, applications and innovations that are driving growth in the segment. Speakers include Travis Barcelona, Nazdar; Chuck Payne, Image 360; Jim Raffel, ColorCasters; and Ray Weiss, SGIA. ‘Essential Small Business Strategies’ is designed to teach new and small businesses methods for marketing, sales and business management. Speakers include Brian Adam, Olympus Flag and Banner; Dave Fellman, Dave Fellman and Associates; Marci Kinter, SGIA; Aaron Montgomery, MontCo Consulting; and Ryan Sauers, Sauers Consulting Services. The workshops will take place Wednesday, 17 October, 1:30 - 4pm, and tickets cost $49.
