Semaphore sold to The Print Centre Cardiff

The Print Centre Cardiff has acquired 33-year-old sign and display company Semaphore. The latter will continue to trade under it’s own name but will get a brand refresh and relocate to Cardiff Bay, where The Print Centre has had a factory since last year at the launch of its sign and display business. A second factory unit has been bought to accommodate the move.
The Print Centre has four retail sites as well as the factory, and has been established in Cardiff city centre for 16 years. “This is a milestone for our business in every way,” said director Mark Williams, who runs the operation with his wife Alison, and who’s son Christian is also involved. The intention of Semaphore’s founder and MD John Marshall to retire was behind his sale of the business.
