Hybrid to show off new Mimaki hardware and inks at Sign and Digital UK

As exclusive UK and Irish Mimaki distributor, Hybrid Services will show a new clear option for the UCJV300 Series LED UV printer/cutters at Sign and Digital UK (2-4 April, NEC Birmingham). The event will also see the UK debut of the Mimaki TS55 1.9m wide dye-sub printer, and the recently announced metallic LED UV ink will be on show for the first time on a Mimaki UJF-7151plus.

Speaking on the new clear ink for the UCJV300 Series, Hybrid chief operations manager Brett Newman said: "Utilising flexible UV inks that cure instantly allows customers to quickly print and immediately deliver the finished product without waiting for drying. The UCJV printers also feature white ink, enabling users to produce brilliant colours on transparent, coloured or metallic substrates. The introduction of clear ink also places the UCJV300 series into the prototyping and packaging environment.” The introduction of the metallic LED UV ink as used on the on a Mimaki UJF-7151plus is aimed at those wanting to deliver high-end graphics for packaging, small to mid-format signage and bespoke décor and giftware. “exciting new technology presents to visitors to the exhibition.”
