Hybrid Software has acquired the entire issued share capital of colour profiling and conversion software company ColorLogic.

British Coatings Federation (BCF) members have joined other sectors in pledging to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The commitment was made at the recent BCF board meeting in Manchester and will be backed up by more detailed Net Zero Roadmaps for each BCF sector.


Ricoh has announced a global partnership with aeoon Technologies, an Austria-based developer of direct-to-garment (DTG) digital print systems for the industrial textile market. The move will enable Ricoh to extend its DTG offering into higher productivity market segments.

Mimaki Europe will use Formnext 2021 next month to introduce a small-format 3D model production system that features the Mimaki 3D Print prep Pro cloud-based software subscription service - compatible with all 3DUJ-series printers - to autocorrect files pre-production.

On 16-18 November Mactac will take over the Amari Digital Printing Technologies (ADAPT) Training Centre in Nottingham where it will run six half-day interactive sessions showcasing its media options, including the new PVC-free Mactac Squid, a self-adhesive transparent fabric window film available in six colours.

The numbers are in for Fespa Global Print Expo and co-located European Sign Expo 2021, which attracted 7,850 unique visitors. 42% of those attended for more than one day, bringing total visits to 11,130.
