Lotus F1 Team, in co-operation with Warner Bros. Pictures, has created a new Mad Max Hybrid to coincide with the launch of film ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’. The vehicle was fitted with a skin printed on a Roland Soljet XR-640 using a 3M Wrap Film 1080-M230 Matte Grey Aluminium.

SDEA pledges support for Retail Design Expo 2016
The Shop and Display Equipment Association (SDEA) will be supporting Retail Design Expo when it returns to Olympia, London in March next year. SDEA director Lawrence Cutler will remain on the steering panel that helped shape the inaugural event.
Delta makes £3m LFP spend at Fespa 2015

PressOn in Chatham has scooped the ‘People’s Choice of the Year Award’ for its Dazzle Ship Wrap at the 2015 Fespa Awards. It also won the ‘OOH, vehicle decals, printed labels and fleet marking’ category.
New Fespa president inaugurated
Yasar Guvenen has been inaugurated as the 16th president of Fespa, taking over from Augustus Martin founder Lascelle Barrow, who has served in the role of Fespa president since June 2013.
HP adds to Latex offering
HP has added to the tranche of new printers it announced in April by bringing out the 3.2m wide HP Latex 3500 and 3100 at Fespa 2015, as well as HP Scitex 17000 Corrugated Press. The first 3500 has gone to PressOn, which signed for the printer at Fespa 2015 having beta-tested the printer since last winter and having recently moved from Rochester to a bigger site in Chatham following recent investment in various large-format machines.
Epson announces SureColor SC-F9200
Epson continues to target the printed textile market with the introduction of the SureColor SC-F9200 at Fespa 2015. Available as of October, the 1.6m dye-sublimation printer prints up to 720 x 1440dpi and at speeds up to 97m2/hr in draft mode, 56m2/hr in production mode and 27m2/hr in quality mode.

First installs for new look NoeCha1
Italian-based NoeCha has shown Fespa 2015 visitors an updated version of its first large-format flatbed printer, launched in an earlier guise last year. The new version of the 3.2 x 2m NoeCha1 is equipped with a new UV-LED cold cure system designed by the company that originally used mercury lamps, a semi-automatic loading bed, and an easier to access printhead carriage.
