Textile designer Berni Raeside will launch her debut collection of knitted-look wallpaper and digitally printed cushions, tote bags, tablecloths and napkins at Showcase Ireland in January. 

EFI has expanded the programme for its annual Connect Users' Conference in Las Vegas, 20-23 January 2015, with a ‘fireside chat’ keynote featuring Thomas J Quinlan III, president and CEO of global integrated communication services provider RR Donnelley.

Spandex has expanded its range of ImagePerfect materials with a self-adhesive outdoor print media product called IP2555 StreetApp, a white, textured, scuff-resistant material with a non-slip surface. It has been designed for digital printing on large format inkjet printers using eco solvent and solvent, as well as UV-curable and latex inks. 

Gerald White, CEO of Berforts Group, has become BPIF president, replacing Tony Garnish. The move follows the BPIF’s recent announcement that Charles Jarrold will take over as CEO in January.

Proskills UK Group has said it is delighted to hear that the government has fulfilled its commitment to starting 2m apprenticeships in this Parliament. To demonstrate its commitment to apprenticeships, Proskills UK has itself recruited a new marketing apprentice.

Connect 13, available from late February 2015, will have expanded file delivery controls and a new Connector that streamlines remote installation, while providing a single point of access for designers to create and verify print quality PDFs and automatically deliver them to their print service provider.
