SA International (SAi) has introduced a new range of finishing tools, an Integrated QR Code Creator, and new drivers and upgrades for its SAi Flexi signmaking software.

From January 2015, HP Latex 310, 330 and 360 printer users will be able to remotely monitor the machines, track job status and receive printer alerts by downloading a free app from Google Play or the Apple App Store to a smartphone. The HP Latex Mobile app will be available for tablets in mid-2015.

Contra Vision competition winners announced Contra Vision has named the winners of the international competition to find the best see-through window graphics. 

Drytac Europe has appointed Douglas Jackson as operations director. He joins the company US-based Acco brands, where he was also director of operations. Prior to this Jackson was president of Neschen GBC Graphic Films - a joint venture with Acco Brands - which manufactured the Seal, Neschen, and GBC brands throughout the US.

More detail has emerged on the Esma organised upcoming Printed Interior Decoration (PID) conference, taking place 26-27 November in Dusseldorf alongside EuroShop, a retail trade fair held every three years in the town. The new large-format print based event will have four keynote speakers who will explain the power of digital print and how it can help creative designers build a successful business model.
